| Some of these pictures are a bit older. But they're a fair representation of my planted tanks. My only real care of them is Flourish comprehensive on a very inconsistant schedule. I also use Flourish root tabs along with Eco complete substrate or a similar type. And I have a ton of pond snails in every tank. Logan. He's a tail biter, so his tail is in shreds [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Kilo. He's since passed on. He won't be forgotten. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Samba in his tank. I don't have a full on view of it. I'll try and get one. | So jealous! Do you just use the stock lighting? How long do you keep your lights on?
I think my problem is my lighting schedule is so wonky. I need to put each tank on a timer. |

| No, I use 6500k CFLs on all my tanks. I TRY and keep them on for no longer then 8 hours a day. But I fail often. Lately I've been doing 10 and Huey has Cyanobacteria again. :/ I had just gotten that tank under control. I think I'm going to try setting an alarm on my iPad. |

| That's a LOT of light. Plants don't need that much light. Algae will totally love it. |
